New addition to the fleet

I've known about this tractor for a couple of years, but life kept getting in the way. Finally got it home today. It's a 1940 Minneapolis Moline GTS, the only year they stamped the model as GTS and not the usual GT.

Been sitting in a shed for around 30 years, which really saved this tractor. Turns over, so shouldn't take much to get it to run again. Only sad part is the 14-32 rear tires are shot, and good luck trying to find 32's.

(quoted from post at 17:08:57 07/20/19) Nice looking tractor.
It likely was built about 15 miles from
where I live.
I sure wouldn't paint the old girl.

Ultradog, I agree with you, I prefer the barn find look, and especially with how well preserved this one is.

That's what sucks about the tires, the tread is good and the faces of the tires are essentially sound, but where the tires had sunk into the ground, the sidewalls are badly cracked, nearly to the point of buckling. They hold air, but will give out the first time I try to pull anything with it. I found some new radials that work out to being a 13.6, but that's not much tire for a big old horse like this one.

I bought a John Deere 60 has original paint the dealer that had told me if you tell me you are going to paint it he would not sell it to me.
I don't want to paint it to began with plan is to run hay rake and hay baler with it.
I also have a original paint 2510,
