Anyone collect sprinklers?

I was at my friend's looking for some rain bird type sprinklers. Found a few that look pretty old and maybe should be displayed.

I?d pick em up if they interest you they would make
a neat display at a farm show . Sooner or later
people are going to get tired of rows and rows of
tractors with a barett Jackson paint job just sitting
there no implements or anything to go with just a
pretty paint job

Nothing that'll help you, but here's a funny story that happened a number of years ago.

When wife and I got married, we started going to a local weekly auction. Neither of us had ever been to an auction before. At one of the auctions, we ended up with a 60's-model all-aluminum sprinkler -- the same kind of sprinkler my folks had been wishing they could still buy. Well, we got it for just $1. I sent it to my folks, but they never used it. I later found out that, because the sprinkler was still in its original box and the box was in near-mint condition, they were afraid to use it because they didn't want to take away from the value.

I never did any research to see what (or if) they were worth, but I know if we had enough water capacity from our well, we'd use it up here! They sure don't make 'em like they used to!!

It looked something like this:

I don't really have a collection, but some of my Rainbird sprinklers are pretty old, but still using them. They don't ever seem to wear out or go bad unless someone runs over them with a car or lawn mower!!
