Towing a IH 1466

Can a IH 1466 be towed without doing damage? Only a few miles.

With a little care, the gearing should not be a problem. Make sure the shifters cannot slip into gear or park. Problem will be no steering unless engine is running. Will need a dolly for the front end without engine running.

If a TA delete model you could tow it and in gear you would have steering and brakes. The TA model will not. With TA model I would load and haul as you will not have bearing lubrication in the transmission.
