Pick up a non operating MM V today thought them and the Avery V tractors were built in Louisville KY but this one has a plate on it stating it was built in
Waynesboro PA by Frick Company.Anyone know about them?

Don,t you just hate it when nobody answers you... LOL . Probably because just like you everyone thinks like you they were made in Louisville, I have check a couple of books and find nothing about Pa. What are you going to do with it?

I bought it for the wheels and tires really,Motor is loose but the transmission needs serious help I think.Hood, fenders, grill all good,no welds or broken up parts.Probably put the rest up for sale, find one with a good trans and have a pretty good little tractor. The plate has a lot of information about the tractor on it.

Frick Co. in PA had a Minneapolis-Moline distribution territory on the East Coast. Frick put their own tags on when they shipped them to dealers. The MM power units made great power for Frick's sawmills.

There were a few MM dealers here in NC who got their tractors either direct or from a distribuitor in Tennessee. Their tractors do not have Frick tag on them.

I am betting you got your tractor in NC, SC, GA, or VA. Lots of the V models were shipped to the Southeast. And lots of them here in NC have the Frick tag on them.
