Feeling like posting some today, and some fine case 1030 on 10/30 seems like a good way to get that done.

I have gotten her stuck! This pic is from when I dropped into some ruts left by a combine that were covered by the grass. It got hung up on the plow.

I remember a lot of nights following that same glowing exhaust pipe fall plowing with Dad's old Allis B. The whole muffler would just glow in the hard spots. I still have the tractor, but she hasn't worked that hard in a long time, and neither have I.
 
I can never see enough pictures of 30 series JI Case tractors. And that last picture, boy a fella would have just about had the world by the tail with that fleet of tractors, and those barns . Hay mows full of hay, and stables full of milk cows. Beautiful !
 
With fire like that coming out the exhaust would that be telling you it needs a valve job. Just asking.
 
Completely normal. That is a complete rebuild on that engine about 100 hours ago including rebuilt heads with new valves. Hope it doesn't need valves yet. Lol it's non turbo so fire when pulling is normal.
 
I always liked the looks of the 930-1030 Case tractors. I have never driven one as there were very few in our area. Was at a sale that had a 930 narrow front and it felt like you were setting on top the world. Thanks for posting. Tom
