California had 271 DUI arrests, and 10 killed. Our county had free rides for over the limit drinking, and still had 46 arrests.Stan

Don't know about that but 2 were shot in the bar district, a lady was almost hit in the head by a bullet coming thru her roof, and an apartment complex was heavily damaged by fire from illegal fireworks, all in Austin. And a lady was killed and a man at another location wounded by "celebratory" gunfire in Houston. Happy New Year to all!

No idea on DUIs, but MSP Metro closed out the year with a homicide and started the New Year with two more. Great city living!

What does it matter? People are dead for no good reason. Weather it be from a drunk behind a wheel or a drunk idiot with a finger on a trigger it isn't acceptable.

If they would take off the kids gloves and let the cops do what they are paid to do there would be a lot more DUI arrests than there are.

No idea. But I do know I drove 20 miles to go home, mostly highway, about 2:00AM. Never saw any law enforcement. On the way home we stopped on an overpass to watch a train go by. Drove from 30 MPH to the speed limit to watch that same train bust though some snow banks at night. Awesome sight. BTW I don?t drink at all. But that doesn?t stop us from being weird sometimes.

We had a state assemblyman get picked up for DWI. I haven't heard any numbers overall but I'm sure there were more than enough.

Stan,
You can tell who has beed busted for DUI.
They drive mopeds(liquor cycles) to liquor store.

Yeah Billy. I use to work over in your part of the state. You never could trust those cows anywhere east of Kosse when they went out at night.

Many years back in our local town you would see a Farmall M parked along the street. I guess this was a lady that had to many DUI's and lost license. I heard she also got busted for driving the tractor drunk too.

Yes them Kosse cows and the Thornton cows were always causing trouble.

I use to go to the Walnut Creek mine on sevice calls. That cop in Kosse was a sneaky little puncture wound.
