It?s amazing how much more you can push going forward than in reverse . I had to put a new alternator on I left the key on a couple times on the old one and cooked it .

"A lot easier on the neck too"
Why is it, the older we get the more we are reminded
of our ackes and pain?

I too have been battling neck and sholder pain.
SV,
Looks like your invention works well. Glad to see YT members build things.

I started clearing the barn yard when I was 10-12 years old with the Farmall '51 M and Stan-Hoist loader with 80 inch snow bucket, same tractor that's sitting out in my shop right now 55 years later. The last 25 years I've used a Super H with a Ford loader modified to mount about like an IH #2000/2001 loader. It gets an 80 inch wide 16 inch high blade for snow removal. I cleared the barnyard ONE TIME with the Farmall 450 with Fast Hitch rear blade and went back to the M and loader. I've pushed up piles of snow TEN FEET high with the Super H and loader with the blade. That was winter of 2007/2008 when we had over 100 inches of snow. Kinda a nice weekend in mid-February I gassed up both tractors and SON & I cleared ALL the snow away from in front of the house and shop so when it started melting it didn't flood the house basement or shop. Was a FUN hour. When I got back to work Monday morning the contractor who cleans the parking lot was just finishing up doing the same thing.

I have a 7' Ford built front snow plow for my 3000. The last couple of years I've been too lazy to pull the front bumper off and mount the plow and just used a back blade. No more! Next year I will get off my duff and mount the front plow. Tired of craning my neck around and doing things backwards. A front snow blade combined with a back blade is Way best. Back up into the garage door and pull the snow forward with the back blade. Then get behind it and push with the front plow.
I enjoy moving snow.

Ultradog ..... not being a reader of the good book, I did a Google search. Not sure what it was all about but it ounds like it could have ended up like the headlines from 2020 newspapers had Moses not stepped up to the plate. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I wish my box scraper was 2 feet wider but it doesn?t work to bad the way it is . I?ve moved snow the last 30 years in reverse I just never knew how much more you can do going forwards going backwards got the job done but this is ten times easier on the tractor and everything

Hey that?s a goodOne and behold It is a stiffenecked people . And yes after 12 hours of going backwards will make just about everything stiff

There?s just no comparison is there? I always dreamed of Getting a dozer blade but never found one until now

I think in all the years I've lived in WI I have only cleared snow backwards once when dad had a blower on the back of his Leyland. Still used the loader more than the blower though..
