Ringo needs to lose weight

Our previous pup was prone to kidney stones. He was of Science Diet C/D, vet recommended. Made him pee frequently, but no more kidney stones.

we have not tried that one, we have 3 in the house lab, Beegle and a maltase and after trying a few settled on Rachel Rays in the red bag, dogs like it and seems balanced with some vegetables in it.

Well, yes and no. Feed science diet to my fuzzy mutt. However, I mix 1/2 regular and 1/2 low calorie. Works for mine. Lost about 20 lbs in a year and a half. She seems happy.

Tony in SD- That is all dog gets too.....scraps and Ol'Roy nuggets if he wants. A 50 pound bag will last a year. LOL

Well that?s what ringo gets minus the hot dogs there?s laws even out here again animal cruelty. Now he needs to lose weight

For weight loss: Fed your normal dog food a measured amount. When this is determined, then reduce the amount of food by one unit (tsp,tbs,1/2cup,whatever) and replace it with twice the amount that you reduced it by with canned pumpkin (not for pies as it has sugar in it) or cut up green beans. I know I should sell Hills and do in some medical cases but this does work and saves my clients $ who don't want me to retire at 82

sv, I have been feeding my 6yr. old golden retriever science diet food since he was a puppy. He loves it! He is a little over weight, vet has him on science diet adult light. I always feed him dry. I buy from chewy .com, free two day shipping right to your door.
