Friend of mine once owned a Wurlitzer 78 RPM jukebox with tube type amplifier.

After the electronics failed he threw it into a the deep creek behind his house along with all of the 78 RPM records.

FWIW: I once watched the same guy use a BH to clean out his "garage," dumping the residue into the same creek. Included were multiple 50s vintage Corvette 265 and 283 engines with 2X4 intakes and matching WCFB Carter carburetors, early Corvette aluminum valve covers, and a couple of Borg Warner T-10 4 speed transmissions.

Bill.

45 Rpm records from the 50s and 60s.
No heavy metal. The tube amp still works.

Here's my 1990's reproduction Wurlitzer 950 "Gazelle". A friend won it in a raffle, but it didnt work. After a few years he sold it to me and I fixed it (after a few MORE years of trying!) It plays 200 CDs and I also have it hooked up to my SiriusXM radio through the external inputs so I can let it run all day on my favourite channels (40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, Willie's Roadhouse) The cats love the changing colours and the rising bubbles along the sides!

Probably tube type and if so, they have big transformers in the power circuits for filament and plate power. Transformers have heavy metal!

YT dance party at George's!!

Iffen ya got a jukebox... ya hafta have a party and make use of it. :)

Sweetfeet,
I have a 56 Rockola Jukebox, a balley bus stop pinball, a balley bowling machine, all 50's vintage, all work. Plus a pool table in my basement.

There is even a 4 inch support pole, so you can pole dance.

My basement has hosted many parties.
