eaton motor housing needed

Broken flange on an Eaton 74328-DBY motor. Anyone know where I can find just the housing? Will take a whole motor too.

This company has 3 to 5000 HP motors, or can fix yours if it is in that category. They do not do smaller motors. My brother is a machinist there. Jim

Jim, you were fooled by it being called a ...motor... as was I initially and in this case it is the correct term. By web searching it appears that the OP is needing a part for a hydraulic motor. So, I?m hoping that if the OP is intelligent enough to know he needs only the housing that he has indeed did a web search using the motor number. In doing so I found replacements for that Eaton motor are rather expensive, like in the $1000 range. Steve if you don?t mind what is the application for this motor? I would recommend searching for hydraulic repair businesses in your area and see if they can help you.

Steve, since we can?t edit posts here I am adding this as an apology of sorts. After checking your post for additional replies I reread my reply and I hope I didn?t come across as insulting your intelligence. I totally blocked the part in your post that talked about the broken flange. Dah, then you would obviously need a replacement housing. I just simply hoped you had web searched (Google) the motor number so you could see the information that came up that way. Sorry, again. Good luck!

Would help a lot if we knew what it went on. If like a hydraulic auger. Might find one on a rusted out old auger and get the whole motor from it.
