I've been thinking about doing the same, just so I can refill my 5 gallon cans with this low priced gas, but 2 of my tractors have not been started for 2 years or more, and those gas tanks need to be drained before I pour any fresh gas into them.

Ellis, we just dropped below $2 (1.999) so I'm not getting excited yet. The nnalert 19 cases have jumped by 41 over the weekend and today isn't over. Everyone is scared witless! I need corn in the ground in 3 weeks and our temps are 20 degrees below the norm. Over all this gas price isn't to bad!

Gas in Northern Ky. is about $1.75 to $1.85. I really like that. As far as the virus is concerned I haven't been off the farm except to buy gas a few times. That doesn't really bother me because I am outside. I used hand sanitizer after pumping gas. I felt kinda foolish doing that. Ellis

In southern MN this morning--$1.929 for regular 87 octane. We just got a new station in town and this one also offers 15% ethanol . That was 5 cents cheaper. I put that in the wife's vehicle. We'll see how it works out.

It?s going lower... Oil is below $20/barrel. I don?t remember the last time it was that cheap. Cheap fuel might seem nice, but it?s an indication of a weak global economy.

I bought my last tractor in 2009 and it's never had more than five gallons in it but it's full now. The first of the week this week I will be put out of business so I plan on doing a lot of work on the property I haven't had time for in years. I think I have about 35 gallons of gas in cans and extra two cycle oil.

I keep debating whether to order fuel now or wait a week and see if it drops more ? Probably better just get it coming rather than get greedy
