X590 Update

I ran it hard two solid hours yesterday, started right up this morning, no smoke.

I had a heck of a time getting the Skag to start, it does help if you turn the fuel on. I plan to mow with that, ran it about hour and burned up a belt, so finished up with 590. I did find out the 590 has a backup mower kill, that is gonna have to stop working.

My JD mower had a back up kill and a small yellow button to be held down to override the shut off. I locked the button down with a small screw between the button and the plastic dash board. Works great now.

My X300 has the button you have to pull up to override the back up deck shut off safety switch. I have gotten so use to it that it is just an automatic reaction to me to pull it up.

Just my opinion... Those engines will smoke on startup almost anytime they set for a long time. Oil seeps into the combustion chamber. It's the nature of the design.
