I do like fuel injection, it has been sitting all winter, cracked throttle, allow fuel pump to get pressure, about 3 spins and it fires.

The easiest starting engine I think I have ever seen is the 1960 TO35 Ferguson.

It can sit for months, pull the choke, just blip the starter through one compression stroke and it starts!

Still has points, still has a generator.

My 57 Jeep CJ3B Fires on the first or second compression stroke (mighty F head). 51 GMC is a bit slower, probably 4 to 6 strokes. Jeep is on 12v, the GMC still 6v. Jim
