Ebro was a Spanish company owned by Ford and Massey Ferguson, the tractor production line from Dagenham was erected in the Ebro factory when Ford moved tractor production to Basildon to build the "X" series.

Ebro manufactured parts were sold as spares for the Major tractor range for some years afterwards. Eventually the Ebro was fitted with a Perkins engine then an MF gearbox as Ford withdrew from the agreement.
