Longevity Weld Max LC520d

Can anyone give me info on the Longevity Weld Max LC520d. I believe this model is discontinued but there is a lightly used one for sale for $650. Supposed to be a plasma cutter, Tig/stick welder. What are it's pros and cons? Is that a fair price or keep looking?

No personal experience, but it is a China made discount welder.

It may do what you want, but one concern is availability of consumables. Now or 5 years from now...

I found one at an equipment auction that sold for 125.00 USD. I do not know how much was included. If there is a dealer close, it might be a good option. If it is less than 100 amp, it might be over priced. Jim

I used to have one of those Longevity combo units. Not too long after I got it the plasma cutter started to fail. Getting any kind of info on it was a joke. Their "support" if you want to call it that couldn't figure out what model I had let alone the correct electrical diagram for it. Eventually the TIG portion gave up the ghost (I think the high frequency portion was what was failing). Eventually got rid of it and got a Lincoln AC/DC stick/tig unit. Miss the plasma cutter but don't use it enough to justify buying a separate unit.
