got er back to the farm. unfortunately, some one grabbed the hood. and rad is damaged. but the donor tractor has those parts. no water in oil, so that is good. pretty decent tires too. cant find a serial number. looked on the dash and tool box. nothing. any idea that it is? heres some pics i can only post two at a time

Definitely sleeved and I think wet sleeve. I think case only had one or two dry sleeve engines. But ask on the case forum, several experts on them there.
 
I'm not up on those smaller cases much. Some had the serial number stamped on the block bell housing. Not sure if those do. Go down to the case forum and ask there, lots of experts there. Looks like it should be a fun project.
 
serial plate was on the LH sde of the dash panel which is missing I see,, the 300 uses a 148 Case engine wet sleeves,, I would have to do some looking over on it to know if it is a round nose or a "B" model,, I think with that dash it should be a "B" if so it would be a 1958 model with the style radiator neck,,

Is this the first time you been wrong this year? If so that's not to bad. We are in the latter part of the eighth month you know.
