Mount #8 Sickle to 3020

I have a #8 sickle mower that is currently mounted to my 1948 B. How would I attach it to a 3020? I have looked through the operator's manual and I didn't see anything. Thanks

John deere makes a hitch just like on the b to hook the mower on . They came out in the 50s and they manufactured them through at least the new generation

I have a 38 which is about the same thing only newer. We made a bracket that sets on top the drawbar and has two tabs that slide in the drawbar carrier and use two of the holes that are in the carrier for changing drawbar position. You can let the drawbar in place so it is still available for use. Mine had holes to fit both a 3020 and a 2510. Tom

Eric, I made a set of adapters to fit my 4010 3 point quick hitch. Dad had a solid bar, but if you raised the 3 point to far you'd bend the pto shaft. Best of luck.

This is how i did it on mine . The hooks were broke off on mine
