It is snowing

Light scattered flakes in south-central Minnesota at noon. No sign of accumulation. It's a bit early, but it won't last long at this time of year. Even the infamous "Halloween Blizzard" of several years ago had largely melted by mid-November.

6 inches of snow on the ground here near Des Moines......tapering off now with more to come "they" say.

We had brief flurries go through yesterday. It was all pretty dry considering the temp was slightly above freezing. It was coming down enough so that the farthest anything could be seen was about 70 to 80 yards away. No accumulation. Pretty much no wind. Was a beautiful day!!

No snow yet here in NH. Two days of AC in the last 10 weeks, and ten minutes of heat in the morning for ten in the last thirty days.

we got over 8" total in the last 48 hrs,, built up to 4-5 inches as it melted almost all the time other than at night perfectly normal for us here we already had two small snows weeks before this

About a half inch in N. Illinois. Seven straight days that averaged thirty eight M P H winds and now snow.

So how much rain would 8 inches of snow be in your area? Around here with our wet heavy snow it usually 10 to 1.

Jefferson New Hampshire got 5 inches a couple days ago. Nothing for us south of the notches though.

no gauge out it was pretty wet stuff,, I would say we got 1 1/2"-2" from this in liquid as it rained also by far the most H20 we have got in the last 14 months,, much of it melted in today

We got 2 inches or rain yesterday, the first real rain since mid August. Its amazing how up can grow with so little rain.

Not far from me I’m at Neligh about 35 miles west of Norfolk!!! Weatherman said we could get 4-5 inches snow this Sunday!!!!!!
