Winter Storm

There were predictions of a pretty bad winter storm this weekend and I guess some areas got it. Not so bad here with just a few inches of snow and too much wind. There was a little freezing rain before it turned to snow so that made a bit of ice on the paved highways. So I took the road less travelled since I needed to get to town to vote in the municipal election. Back roads were mostly fine and no traffic. Only needed 4 wd in one short stretch. Sun came out but at +5 it was cool. Glad I got that open tractor work done last week when it was nice.

I don't know why you have to use all those bad words and show those terrible pictures. We have had unseasonably warm weather in Northeast Indiana. In the 70's!

Yes its so dry here we'll take the moisture in any form. I was just watching a video of a guy working the land in England. So wet that the packers and disks were blocking up with soil and he was digging it out with a shovel. None of that here.

Reached 70F here in Ontario today, beautiful day for spreading manure

One of my cousins in South Saskatchewan sent me a message today, said they’d had blizzard conditions, and she couldn’t get her back door open for snow drifted against it

Yes, its a big province and theres quite a range of conditions. Trans Canada highway was closed on the West side for a while I heard. City of Saskatoon was having big problems keeping traffic moving in the snow.
