Vortex Diamondback Binoculars?

Im looking at these binoculars, was wondering if anyone has experience with them? Mainly for bird-watching around my place, spying on the various members of the wildlife community. I chose these because of the bigger objective lens (more than 30mm which is recommended for bird-watching, and a few other features. There are some cheaper options and definitely a lot more expensive ones but these look like they might be a good fit.

Thanks for any recommendations. BTW Ive seen a good number of birds close-up, having caught them in my hands. They fly into my open shop door to look around and of course cant get back out. So far Ive caught the small woodpeckers (Probably same one each time), cardinals, house finch, sparrows, wrens, barnswallows, one bigger bird, cant remember. Might have been a northern flicker. Bird-feeder is right outside my workshop. Theyre usually tired from trying to escape by the time I get to thembut have plenty of energy to fly off when I release them outside.

I have the Diamondback 10x50 HD and really like them. I can’t really point you in any particular direction, but would recommend getting the HD option
if possible. If you need them for lowlight conditions, consider the 50’s as they will let more light in than the 42’s.

Thanks, I'll definitely go with the HD version. A review I read said the difference is significant--much better image and clarity. I appreciate the advice.

I have those and I love them for hunting. It's almost scary how tree branches and such become so 3-dimensional. I wish I had found that deal when I bought mine, because
I'd like to have that chest pack. Go for it.

I have the dimondback 10x42, non-HD. I like them alot. When I bought mine HD was not available yet or I probably would have bought that model. Either way I like mine alot, however I would encourage you to check out the 10x42 power. The vortex brand seemed to have the absolute best quality you can get for the price range, even better than the similar priced leupold (Acadia).

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll go with the ones pictured in the ad. Since I've been many years without any binoculars at all, this will be a huge step up. I've read the reviews and see that some users are comparing this brand favorably to Japanese and Euro-brands. For occasional use, I think these will be good.
Thanks again,

Gerrit

I actually ordered the 10X42 version. It was on special, only ten bucks more, seemed stupid not to go with that one. Really looking forward to them, thanks again.
