Cub disk

Bought a disk for one of our cubs. Got it
from the guy that sold us the new yellow
cub. He had the double, that I bought,
and a single. Both the same price so I
got the bigger one. I know a lot of IH
implements were blue.....what about this?

Kevin; I had that same harrow that I pulled with an "L" John Deere in the late 50's and it was IH red with white lettering on it.

Mine is blue. Standard size concrete or hadite blocks will fit right into the weight brackets above the gangs. My hitch is a little sprung so it "fights" a little to engage and disengage the gangs. My Cub will pull it in soft ground with concrete block weights, but the Cub complains about it.

Is that single gang disk a one point? I have been looking for one here in Oregon for my cub for years.

Sorry, don't have any. I think it's like yours, pull the rope & drive to engage the gangs, pull the rope & back up to disengage the gangs.

Mine shows red on the disk axles and sand disk blades. Came from Michigan so I'm unsure if a re-paint.

I have my dad's double gang disc. I think it was painted red. It's a load for Cub in soft ground. Usually pulled with a larger tractor.
