Question on 1206SWMO post

I thought I'd ask this as a separate thread. In 1206SWMO's post of tractors there was an E-4 Coop which had the same front end shape as a Cockshut tractor. Are the two related? Someone buy out the other or just a coincidence.

Yes they are related because they are the same tractor. At one point Cockshutt made tractors for Co-op, Gambles Farmcrest, and I think Canadian Co-op?? Somebody will give you more info then what I can remember off the top of my head. I do have a Gambles Farmcrest 30 tractor.

The E-4 is just a Cockshutt 40 with orange paint and the center piece in the grill that says Co-op on it...I have two E-4 Co-op's and two 40 Cockshutts...
