Hello all!

We're going to look at a T-590 for beef cattle chores and snow moving and general light farm duty. Anything to look for that isn't obvious? This machine has the selectable joysticks to go from hand/foot to hand only Case style. I've operated more than a few skidloaders, but never bought one. Anything special I should check? Thank you for your advice!

never heard of one giving choice from hand to foot control, but i know the new bobcats are electric foot control now as option ,choosing two types of hand control yea thats common. i tried out three of the newest bobcat models and did not go that brand just did not care for them now the old units i liked. i ended up buying new holland new unit way more service friendly and liked access so much easier

Undercarriage is probably the biggest thing, tracks rollers idlers. Depends how it's been used. Taken care of, greased on time and the operator doing proper turning is a big thing with tracks. I have a 2018 T590 foot control only, good machine. I traded a 2007 T190 for the 590, had good luck with that too. Only I have run it 99% of the time.
Roller suspension is easier to clean than the no roller type. Keeping the undercarriage clean is very important.
