What light switch do I want?

Im looking for a 4 position rotary light switch that is off-on-on-on.
By that I mean first position is everything off. Second position one light is on, third position first & second light is on, fourth position all three lights are on. This is not on a factory wiring scheme.

I tried an A-107200C2 switch for a Farmall but couldn't get it to do exactly what I wanted. I studied it for a while and tested continuity through all the terminals in each position. Figured I could use it by jumpering between a couple terminals but then the damn thing broke anyways. Made by AI Products and was really a poor quality switch. Terminals were initially loose and one just fell off.

Any recommendations for what I might want?

pretty common light switch, my john deere 2350 has that where off, low beams, high beams, flashers and lights. It has relays at each position to handle the load.

The part is available here on Yesterday Tractors, pretty decent price.

I used the rotary one from Fords with cabs on my backhoe, I kept hitting it with my knee and breaking the shaft off when it was pulled out

This site sells them

Purchase a 4 position switch from industry. (5 terminals, one supply, and 4 terminals that can be turned on) Use 3 Diodes from an alternator output
bridge as follows: Assuming you want OFF at full Counter ClockWise (CCW), between each terminal other then the "off" position place a diode that
conducts electricity (depending on tractor ground) back toward that first "ON" terminal 2.

First ON terminal 2 goes only to headlights, and can't get to the others through the diode to terminal 3.

Terminal 3 "ON" electricity goes from terminal 3 to second set of lights and back through the diode to terminal 2, to headlights.

Terminal 4 "ON" electricity goes from terminal 4 to last light circuit lights and back through the diode to terminal 3, and back through that
through its diode to terminal 2 All are now ON.

There might be a tiny voltage drop, but I do not think it will be substantial. Jim
