9x24 inner tube same as cub?

The tube size should be selected by the tire being mounted, not the fact that it is a Cub. If the tire being selected is the same actual size as original, then it is not an issue. With that in mind, the purchase of a quality tube today is difficult. Many tubes are made of inferior compounds and do not stretch well, or stretch but then tear after a time. Some research seems to favor Latex tube material over Butyl. But my opinion is that the brand name is more important than the claimed material. Jim

Good afternoon, posters: I have a 1958 Cub Lo-Boy with IMPLEMENT Tires. They look OK, but are not as tall as what is needed due to me having a belly mower. (I don't know what tubes are in them).

I recall an article in Antique Power where they bought a 'cheap' or 'quick' tube only to find it was for a truck tire and had an extremely long valve stem that would stick out to the side on a tractor wheel. (Out to the side so it could be easly knocked off by a tree or something.) So keep in mind the tube needs to be for an Agricultural tire.
