a while ago someone posted that they could not figure out how this thermostat fit. i have the old original one with the part # on it i took
out, was not working. i replaced it with the newer style one. its a straight forward fit. plus i ordered a new one to have on hand. plus i
see the 660 has a 5 1/2 fan belt pulley vs the 560 with a 4 pully, due to engine rpm 2400 vs 1800 rpm.282 engine. and 660 has a taller rad
also. cause i robbed a stat out of one till the new one gets here.

Was heating an issue? I hope that takes care of it. if not try something simple like vinegar in your radiator sometimes that works too get it good and hot.

no not heating. just fixed oil leaks oil cooler , and replaced every coolant hose they were like rocks. using vinegar is just a waste of time. if the cores are corroded you need a caustic boil out. even the strongest 10 percent vinegar wont touch corrosion. pickling vinegar is 7 percent and the everyday stuff is 5 percent and that dont take your hide off it will do nothing to the rad. this caustic you dont even think of getting it on your skin you will be burned!
