Way OT - 3 wheeled bike

Anyone recognize the make or model of this bike?
It appears to have been a three speed, so probably in that era.
Possibly shop built but it doesn't appear to be.

My son and daughter in-law just showed me their new (to them) Workman Cycle three wheeler. It is not that brand. I looked for a google load of three
wheelers and that frame and drive structure isn't showing up. It does look factory in some ways. My dad purchased 20 workman cycles at an auction when
I was 14. Most were box in front industrial parts runners with 9 gauge spokes and solid rubber tires. One was a basket in the rear single front. Cool
beans. Jim

Interesting for sure and not off topic, some tractors were chain drive .... ha! Yes, it does seem to have a hub-type gear set up on the middle sprocket, probably 3-speeds like you mentioned with the small pull chain-type shifting system (not seen though). That middle sprocket axle position must be used to adjust the chain tension but if you moved it forward or backward, one of the chains would tighten and the other would loosen. Unless the adjustment was vertical where both would loosen or tighten at the same time. Hard to see how it is mounted up.

Should have said something almost two weekends ago, I could have gotten you one with a gas motor (it had the pedals too, but it was bigger than a chainsaw motor). I think the thing went for $100 bucks and the motor wasn't stuck.

I have 2 three wheelers. I've seen the
square tubing before. It's not home
made. Can't tell you make or model.
Having two chains is common. Having a
gearbox is not common.
I don't see anything wrong with OFF TOPIC
posts on TT. Some people might.

Yea, why have the forum busted up in sections and different subjects???

Lets just have one section where everything gets posted.

Most of the parts are bicycle, those that are not, the rear axles and bearings and final drive sprockets would be standard bearings an sprockets. The bike stuff would
be available at any good bike shop.

My guess is someone took apart an old ice cream or food vendor cart, turned things around and started to build a toy.

-The square tubing looks like it was originally designed to carry some serious weight.

-The drive sprocket on the one rear wheel looks like it was added on.

-The frame with the holes drilled in it looks like where one would mount a box or cooler body.

-The independent axles would be required to be able to steer with the two wheel end of it previously being the front.

The tires don't look like they would
carry a 300# person.
I've seen bikes like this in old Florida
retirement communities.
Like all 3 wheelers. A wire basket bolts
to the back.
