We have a plan

Bought two old fords last week. A 641
with a hole in the block. And a NAA that
had an electrical fire. Someone took the
motor off the NAA and attempted to put
it on the 641. But didn't swap clutch,
flywheel, input shaft..... So it doesn't
work. We plan to put that motor back on
the NAA and re wire it. Then off to MS
to see Tracy Brown. He has a 640 motor
for sale! That will go in the 641. Will
end up with 2 tractors, with almost new
tires all the way around, for a very
reasonable price! Now if it will rain
for several days,so we don't have to go
to work installing fencing........lol

NAA front tires ain't the best ....but
they hold air..... Other 6 are great!

Sounds like my younger days. I had a Deere 4010 and dad had a 1968 4020. He bought another early 4020 with a late model engine and rear end problems. Put the late engine in his 4020,his engine in my 4010 and the 4010 engine in the 4020 with trans problems. Painted the problem tractor and sold it for more than we paid for it even with the trans problem and 4010 engine. Tom

x2 on that,,,makes us old geezers' feel bad ,,they get so much done,,,speaking for myself,,I Just putter around anymore ,,the Love family puts me to shame!!!!

I wish that these sort of deals happened around here. The best I have ever done was OK. I bought my 860 over 20 years ago for 900 dollars needing a camshaft and the appearance below average. Thought I did OK at the time but today I think that I paid too much. Oh well. Hopefully, things average out over time so maybe now it is time for me to catch a few breaks.

They are a hard working family for sure! And for mama to get up and fix those bisquits for breakfast before doing all that work, amazing! They are a good family.

Larry, all your years of work with stone, concrete blocks and dirt and mortar gives you the right to take it easy now!

We had rain yesterday so it may come your way but I bet you don't want the cold that came with this rain. It might be 60 out right now if even that warm

By the way I still say you need an I-beam in the over head with at lest 3 chain hoists on trolleys and if you had that set up you would never go back to cribbing or splitting stands. The I-beam I have is about 20 foot long and most of the time it has 5 chain hoists hanging from it with 3 on trolleys makes for splitting a tractor child's play
