Just your typical 1949 cub on FB Marketplace, BUT included in the mangled pile of implements is a fast hitch slip-scoop. Does anyone own a cub capable of actually loading that pan? Was that an IHC authorized cub implement? Will it eventually end up in Alabama?

That is a Standard scoop pan converted from 3 pt to 1 pt hitch.
Got the 3 pt original here and has been with my 52 8N since new.
Still gets used occasionally.

If a good running cub with that pan attached was used to move loose gravel, or dry sand, sure it would work. But drop it into sod, or heavy clay, and there would be zero success. Jim

Not sure about Cub but I have one identical to it that I have used for many years with a Super A with good results.

I have the same scoop as in the picture . It is factory made for 1 pt fast hitch. It is a smaller scoop than the 3 point hitch scoop I have. It was my grandfathers and was used behind a Cub. In spite of what has been said here the Cub handled it well. The Cub did have loaded tires and rear wheel weights. He even dug out a small pond with it along with a lot of other small projects. He also used it to hold weight in the winter when the snow plow was used.
