I have a JD 3020 with a Norden Axle front end. Plate says it was manufactured at Central Machine Shop in Russell KS. They have a website and phone number. Cant seem to get hold of anyone there. Get a VZ message that the number is no longer in service. Does anyone know where I can get parts for this front end? Or are there interchangeable parts for this front end? Need a Pitman arm and tie rod end.
 
What is your general location? I bought a 2510 that came with an aftermarket front end. There's no tag that I've seen. It looks more like the pictures I've seen of Norden. I changed it out with a jd front end. It's not in the best shape but if you have any use for it you can have it. I'm in NE Kansas.
 
Thanks for getting back to me. I live in Upstate NY so thats a ways from NE. I took some pics of the front end for you to compare with the one you have. One thing I thot was the ID plate is riveted on. Yours might be missing but there should be 4 holes where the rivets were located on front center. If this is a front end I could use maybe I could possibly pay you to pull the 2 pitman arms and both tie rods and send them. Maybe thats more than you want to get into and I could understand. Im thinking like you about replacing it with a JD front end. This would buy me some time until I could locate one.I dont even know where to look so Id have to ask around. I know one of the tie rods is bad. That was basically the last straw before I switched the front end out. It's sitting in the fence row so I doubt there'll be enough parts worth pulling off to make it worth while. If you lived closer I was just going to give it away so you can use whatever you can and scrap the rest.
