How rare would this 350d? Came across it at the show I'm at this weekend. I've never seen nor heard of one. The owner has no idea if it's rare, always been in the family.

We had one when I was growing up on a small dairy farm in the 60's. I don't think they quality as rare but I don't think there were a lot of them. They have a Continental diesel so they they are expensive to repair if you need an engine overhaul. Ours had the crankshaft break and when the dealer took it apart it had a cracked head. It was a good tractor overall. We worked it hard - pulled 3-16 plows with it. We had some tough dry sod one year with a hill and it couldn't do that. Pulled a 10 disk with it. Put on a 1 row corn chopper one year - that was a big load also. I often see one at tractor shows around here.

There was a 350 diesel about 10 miles west of me for a number of years but is gone now. A lot of older tractors came in from the Midwest through jockeys so without seeing a local dealer sticker on it I have no idea as to its origins.

I saw one at a local show south of Marcus IA and happened to be talking to the guy who owned it in the the lunch line. I asked if the 350 Diesel was rare and he said he had 9 of them so I guess it all relative to the owner.
