.....too much corn in fact! Local elevator is right full of corn and is piling the excess outside. Most farmers are having their best crop ever, and there just isn't room for all of it under cover. Trucking it out steady to the Harbour for export and down the road to the railhead, but the volume coming in overwhelms the dryer at the elevator, so it gets piled up. Waited over 2 hours to unload....

Our Co-op put up another bin this summer, and good thing too. Corn is looking great here too and still lots left to harvest yet.

Sorry to go off your topic, but too bad about the grain elevator from Corner Gas. I really enjoyed that show when they showed it here in the states.

Local coop has 2 bunkers full. Inside storage pretty tight. Loading out about as much as they are taking in so they can avoid piling on the ground. Train terminal next town over has loaded out several 120 car trains, and has been full a few times. One time they was not taking in anything for 2 or 3 days, waiting on an empty train to show up.
