Anyone elses tractors get Jealous

Farmall H - have only started once this year.
Cub has been used all season

About 2 weeks ago got the H out to do some maintenence, oil/ filter change etc.

Several days ago tried to start the Cub, . NOPE! Not gonna start. You gotta give me some love too!
 
Break downs for me, seems to come in sperts. Almost like an omen, if you believe in superstitions. Sometimes it seems like everything wants to break down at once. I have been just so frustrated at times, that I just quit doing things for a few days waiting for the bad luck to pass, not wanting anything else broke down. Had a tractor break down on me yesterday. Haven't tore into it yet, to see what the actual problem is. Got it pulled back into the yard anyways. Makes me wonder if thats going to be it, or if other break downs are yet to come. Gonna test the water today, and see what happens.
 
Fence row tractors, that face out, wear out their headlights watching the operating (new) tractors go by. That is why most have dangling light sockets. Jim
 
Terramite ran when parked.. How many times have you heard that? ran when parked? I haven't used it much. Parked next to Kubota.

Tried to start it, the battery was dead. No biggie. Put in new battery.

Then it would start and only run with full choke.

After many attempts to make it run, I looked inside the gas tank.

It was full of sailboat fuel. NO gas. Go figure, it runs better on gas.

I scratched my head, and asked myself, why did it run just fine when I parked it and out of gas when I tried to start it?

No carb or gas leaking. Gas from the tank is shut off by a 12v solenoid. .

Perhaps terramite got an attitude rooming with the Kubota in the pole barn and being neglected.
