Buried the Plow

Not buried in mud, but snow. I've been taking pictures of my lawn ornament plow through the winter showing it's gradual burial as the snow deepens. These two photos taken in the same location show how it has changed from February 18 to today, March 8. From the other side I can still about six inches of the front spindle sticking up through the snow drift. There is some work ahead of the 2140 and snowblower when this quits.

Yes, this snow is short term pain for long term gain, hopefully. Hard to believe that Southern Alberta is short of snow but I know even SW Sask was pretty dry. Not sure if they got any of today's but they must have as I heard all highways were bad to the Alberta border. I've just spent an hour shoveling snow to get around doing the cattle chores. Really need to get a tractor going but til the wind stops I won't. Below normal cold returns tomorrow. One day closer to spring....
