Does a Farmall C with no water pump have a thermostat?

I have a Farmall C, not a super, with no water pump. Are they suppose to have a thermostat? I see varied answers to this question on the internet. A thermostat will fit into that upper casting from the head to the radiator. Seems to me like a thermosyphon cooling system would want a full flow to the top of the radiator. Thanks.

I have a 1950 Farmall C.
No thermostat, no water pump.
I replaced the temp gauge because it never moves off the lowest temp.

The new gauge never moved either, still shows it cold.

No water pump , no thermostat , your Farmall C , that has a thermo siphon process for cooling .
Read up on it ,interesting how it works .

I tested it before I installed it to make sure it worked.

The tractor doesn't get warm enough to make the temp gauge move.
