Case 930 3 point capacity

Hello all, new member here.

I'd like to stack hay on pallets and get a 3 point hitch forklift to move them. I want to put 50, 40 lb bales on each pallet for a total of 2,000 lbs.

The pallets will be 8' x 6.5'. The forks will have to go through the 8' width.

I have an opportunity to buy a Case 930 in above average shape. My current "big" tractor is a Ford 5610. Will having that much weight that far from the 3 point arms be too much for the 930? I also plan to pull a semi-mounted 4x16 plow with it. Anything I should know about the 30 series 3 point hitch?

Thanks, George

I'd go for it I do think You will want some front end weight for the extra over hang from a 6 foot plus long pallet. Then keeping it 8 foot wide. If you go the other way you will have more trouble with being able to keep the front end down.
