Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a MM G? I need a couple (LP if able) of heads, blocks, rods, cam, and pistons. I was going to put all that on my UTU because I heard a rumor that G blocks bolt to the same crankcase. The main goal is to jump from 283 cu.in. to 403 cu.in. but since I'm only 19, I don't know enough about it. Thanks in advance. :D

One suggestion is to watch national auction houses such as Polk's in Indiana. They have a fall sale starting tomorrow. Other
than that make a weekly search through Craigslist and Tractorhouse. MM's were mostly sold in the upper Midwest and Plains states
so concentrate your search there and be prepared to pay to get it shipped.

Will need a 403 crankshaft also. The
403 was used in power unit
applications also. Same engine as
used in tractors except for governor
power unit generally fixed rpm,

Best deal would be to buy a non running
403. 4 5/8 X 6 bore and stroke. But they
made 5 5/16 blocks on the 800 6 cyl
motor. And the heads were better. Sq
ports. Easy to stroke the 6 crank to 7
easy to bore the 5 5/16 blocks to 5 1/2
. I started pulling with a U with a 403
motor from a GB LP . Bored to 4 3/4 . 423
cu. Make it light. Could still win in top
cut class. Have fun Vic

I just googled a Moline 403 engine. There is a lot of them. There are a few old guys in every community that can machine anything. I know of 4 at least. Most would love to teach a young guy how to build his own motor. Need to get tractor down to 4000 lb. To pull 4500. Call me if you want. 618 599 8041. Vic
Here is a picture of my Allis Chalmers D17 diesel. It w eights 4030 with me.
