Ok guys, Thank you so much for the help. I fixed the no spark issue. Now I have another. I'm having a fuel issue. I'm getting plenty of gas to the carb but it's not going up to the engine. Spark plugs are dry and he won't kick over. Any suggestions? Thanks

It helps if you provide some background like:

Is the tractor one you have had for a time or new to you?

Was it running and quit, or has it been setting for quite a while and now won't start, or you just acquired not running and are trying to get it going?

What exactly have you done to it so far?

Do you have the manuals for it?
 
Has the tractor been sitting a long time? I have an old Wisconsin 2-cylinder on a corn stalk chopper that
I only use once a year, and I usually have to squirt some oil in the spark plug hoes to get it to start. I
usually remember to squirt oil in the intake when shutting it down, but it still seems to dry out. I
don't know what the intake looks like on a 420, we used to have an M, but it ran really well so I never
had to prime it. Is there somewhere you could squirt some mixed gas into the intake? I always use mixed
chainsaw gas for priming engines, the oil helps. Let us know what happens.
 
Sounds like you have a gasket leak between the carb and manifold, or the manifold and the head. spray some gas on the gasket while trying to start, or afterwards and see if it changes speed or changes how it runs. If it starts or changes speed then you have found the problem. IF not then you have to look further.
