Growing up I went to parochial school where prayer was a regular part of the school day. Forgive me, but I still always laugh when people talk about introducing prayer in public schools. Yeah sure, who's prayer? Even in very small communities not everyone belongs to the same religion or prays the same way.

Well...Happy Holidays!

I couldn't find the checkbox that I need to click on which allows me to accept the terms of the greeting without reading them and/or refuses to allow me to have a greeting if I don't check it. Merry Christmas!

Same back at you. Obviously, this would be easily buried in the Omnibus Bill just passed by absentee votes in our US congress. You forgot to include how many billions of dollars are earmarked and how much goes to the big guy.
No sour grapes intended in light of the festive holidays. ;>)

ss55 - that has always been my thought on the prayer in school topic. What if you get some wingding teacher who wants to set fire to a duck as a form of prayer to some god that you've never even heard of? No thanks.

I'm not going to ever be the politically correct person all these idiots want. I just can't and won't do it. Merry Christmas though
Jon. I even go out of my way to not be PC anymore.

John , I liked your reply, Obviously, this would be easily buried in the Omnibus Bill just passed by absentee votes in our US congress. You forgot to include how many billions of dollars are earmarked and how much goes to the big guy. 10%
