Most of the fellows of that time era were little. Most of the ones I knew didn't come up to my shoulders.

Maybe. I don't recall where I got this photo from. I just copy and past pictures when I find them and save in a folder. I had the privilege of meeting Palmer once in the 1990's when he came to my town to buy an early 9N. A local guy/buddy had a yard of used tractors and equipment and he had an early 9N Palmer was looking to restore and found this, early s/n of 357, which became his pet project and is pictured and written about in FORD books. My buddy called me to ask if I could come over when Palmer arrived so I could help him identify an early 9N model and what to look for. That was the first time I met Palmer but he wasn't yet a noted FORD TRACTOR guru and I didn't know him from Adam. We became good friends and talked on the phone many times after.

It was an effort to mount the VEE-PLOW and Half Tracks. Seems once you got all that installed you'd have to leave it intact and as a dedicated snow machine. I had a NOS STEELCRAFT CAB but never installed it. All the steel, no rust, no dents, was there but the curtains (note this one has doors) and special glass windows wer missing.

Yep, Henry Ford was a svelte man, probably 120 lbs wet out of the shower, and had the tractor designed for a small man, 150-180 lbs avg build. Another example of Ford having vision and a better idea as future tractors would have cabs with heat and AC. Don't forget your 8-TRACK player ; > )
