death machine

Ah the brush whacker! A few of those still used around here for clearing trails to cut wood. They are very effective in their ability to slice saplings but dangerous as all get up.

i cannot believe some people and their goofy postings. at least do the job properly then advertize it, not this b.s. thats waiting for an accident to happen, the dumb and dumber. that is not even redneck its retarded.

About 5 1/2 decades ago a welding shop made seeders - fertilizer spreaders out of what was old truck axles. Back then the pinion shaft spun faster due to being low geared.

Similar mowers have been posted on YT over the years, most with no guards, check the archives.

Reminds me of the way a neighbor used to take the vines and weeds off potatoes before he dug them. He turned the belt pulley straight down on his 8N Ford and had a chain on it.

my inner tree-hugger loves this. it's eco-friendly, and since i'm never going to be anywhere near it, i say fire for effect.

(quoted from post at 19:05:17 04/12/23) have seen pullrd in gangs with dozer. moswt used truck rear ends
e use a gang of 3 behind a 45 hp tractor, but ours have bush hog swinging blades on the 2-3 ton truck axles. Also one like the video using a leaf spring for blade.
No death wish.

you need some ad-blocking. link works fine for me - no ads, just a man, a quad, and a wholesome hatred of weeds.

(quoted from post at 15:29:19 04/12/23) Yikes! I'll stick with my Bushhog, finish mower and my zero turn.

You mean those things that are spun by engines and carry lots and lots of momentum that does the damage when things come off the rails?

With this thing when you stop it stops.
