I almost bought a tractor

A friend told me about a Satoh s7500 for sale for $1000.00 needing a clutch. I went and looked at it and it is in good shape. The loader wasn't beat up and the engine ran good. The clutch definitely was bad and the hydraulics wouldn't work at all. After looking online and seeing that there weren't a lot of parts available, I passed. Anyone out there have thoughts or experiences with those tractors?

I agree, the clutch should be easy or get relined. But anything else would be a hope and a prayer. I have had a couple pass through on trades...... and couldnt hardly give them away. and could get rid of them fast enough.

Was it an S750? Never heard of a 7500. Parts hard to find but worth looking as they are good little tractors. I had a 630 with loader and hoe. Never needed anything but a hyd pump. It was missing when I got it, cheap. found a used one and used that little thing a lot. Only 25 HP but good horses, lots of torque.

Sometimes you can find parts if you search for a Mitsubishi of similar size.

Link to info, HP etc.

Looks like the Stallion engine is not a MItsubishi like the smaller ones. It's a Isuzu, still a good diesel maker.

I think it was probably S750D, the D denotes four wheel drive. Their and Ds and 0s look a lot alike.
