Great old Massey.
My brother and I in 1949. It is Dad's 1947 Massey Harris 44-6.
It was bought while rationing was still in effect. Before that he made
do with a cross-mounted Case. The decal on the hood refers to MH 100th
anniversary year, 1847-1947. The 44-6 used a Chrysler flathead engine.
Note how the hood sides come down lower. Dad traded it in for a 1954 44 Special.
Later bought a 444 Diesel, which he kept for many years, even after switching to
JD 4020s.
