I thought some others would get a kick out of this. Obviously, the price isnt firm if its fallen by 50%.

There was a guy in a facebook group that had a complete pile of parts, claimed to be a full John Deere H for $2000. What has really surprised me lately is how many plain jane Farmall Ms (no aftermarket parts like power steering or 9 speed trans) with average paint jobs and tires and guys are asking $6000+ for them. You never know though, someone may pull the trigger.

I see that a lot here in central Florida on FBM.

Grandma and Grandpa sell 75% of their stuff and retire to Florida.
Not everything is a trailer park, so Grandpa brings his prized antique tractor with them.

Twenty years later both have passed and the children are trying to sell their inherited stuff.

Of course they assume that since they brought most of this stuff all the way to Florida, it must be worth a mint.

Engine runs? It looks like it may be trying to crawl away, but it clearly doesnt run as is! Yikes.

Condition is - fair? Yikes.

I see it from a slightly different angle. I have a B7100. If he could prove to me the engine ran well and stuff like the radiator, fuel tank were in good condition, it would be worth $1,000 to me. His storage method leaves a lot to be desired and I doubt he can prove it runs!

As a nearby new car dealer says in his ads, "Remember it's not what you pay it's what you save!!"

Ditto this, B7100 is a great little tractor and a good collection of parts is certainly worth a reasonable price.

Agreed - if he could prove it - like a date stamped video of it running. But in its current state some guy might spend $200-$400 and take a chance they did get a runner. You have some decent tin, and tires.
