7616 Massey Ferguson running lights stay on

I have a 2018 Euro Massey Ferguson the running lights stay on continuously wether the tractor is running and off they stay on. What causes this problem. There isn t a switch that shuts them off.

In Europe the tendency is for all vehicles to display running lights as soon as the ignition is
switched on. Some makes like Volvo, have dipped beam headlights on all the time the engine is
running. Safety reasons, so you can be seen in low light conditions.

Yes but the lights stay on even when the tractor is off. So they stay on all the time.

My guess would be they are operated by a relay and
the contacts have stuck closed. Check your fuse box
etc. for relays.. one that says lights or just pull them
one at a time. Do they come back on if you disconnect
the battery and reconnect it?

Yes they stay on with the ignition off.

Also we have been disconnecting the battery after every use of the tractor. Once the battery is back in connection then the lights immediately come right back on.

We pulled the fuse. Might have something to do with when we had a guy come and recharge the air conditioning. We are going to check with him.
