At the American Threshermans fall show in Pinckneyville, IL. Both Keck steam engines we were going to use for power were having problems and couldn't saw this afternoon. Our head sawyer said we may not saw for the 1:00 since we didn't have power. I told him stretch the belt out and I'll get some power. My 1936 Case L. Those oak logs really made it bark, but powered right through them.

As much as I like watching the steamers run the sawmill, I would have enjoyed that Case even more. Hope to get some pictures posted in a few days. Forgot my camera so I took some with my phone, now I just have to outsmart the phone to get them posted.

J Hamilton , I would hve liked to have made it there.I like the October show much better than the August show and it's much cooler to.Good to see your Case at work,Good Job.and watch out for those Splinters.

Was there while you were lining the belt up with the tractor so couldn't talk. Kristy told me about November 4th in Murphysboro. We'll talk about it on Sunday when I come for the auction.
