the tractor is low hour 8770.
this afternoon our fair weather is turning around to normal. im about 30 miles northeast of joplin,mo.
usually we are in the 25 degree nights and 45 degree days this time of year.
in the early 60s we milked using cans.it was 3 miles to old route 66 now 96. dad would hook a big 2 weel trailer behind the A john deere n go to 96 n meet milk truck,road be too deep with snow for milk truck. he would pick up 3 neighbors cans too. they were tough they would ride on trailer n help with the can transfer. A had a comfort cover n was warm from feeding.
