Just seeing if anyone has a source for a wide front to go on my dc3. Willing to travel up to 5 hours from southern Illinois

I have one for you. It is an adjustible wide front on a DC3. I am 2 hours north of the IL/WI state line. Bill nine 2 zero - nine 73 - six 7 two nine

Just wondering where you are located in Southern Illinois? I am in Southern Illinois as well, and know of many Case collectors here that may be able find one.

Good luck in your search. Always interesting to me how regional parts and tractors can be. In my area of eastern Washington I find it harder to find narrow front ends for Case tractors We have hills and I think the misconception that wide front was safer on hills combined with the more general purpose use of the tractors was the basis for this over the years. West of me where cropping systems were irrigated row crop single tire front tractors were pretty common. I have thought that the single front tire and 100 inch rear axle length must have been well suited for potato production 70-80 years ago. Merry Christmas, Mike
