Hey 49 Cubber. I've got even a bigger slug problem than you!

Everytime I head to the field, I pass by my neighbors and they point out that there is a big slug on my tractor. But, when I get to the field and get off the tractor to look for the damn thing... I CAN'T FIND IT!!!

:)

Sprinkle salt on the barn floor around the tractors, if salt gets on a slug, they disolve, slugs hate salt

Metaldahyde slug bait. Comes in pellets. Get it at the farm store. Always heard beer works but I have a lot of school kids working around from time to time, could just see them getting in my stash and me getting arrested for providing alcohol to minors.

I use the bait ever year in our tobacco greenhouses until we quit. Soon as those nasty things came out I would get a box and sprinkle it.

put out saucers with beer in them. They crawl in & drown. No Lie! It's an old gardener's trick.

YES BEER!!! works better than any chemical, bait or what ever you can buy for this. Found it works best if you dig a small hole to where rim of saucer is at ground level. That way they do not have to climb up and in they just walk off into it. If wife will not let you use saucers anything will work as long as it holds beer and rim is at ground level. And no drinking some of the beer while you put it out does not make it work better but it can't hurt!!

try sprinkling some salt around the floor of the barn or some around each wheel of the tractor. that should get rid of them. good luck.

If you want to get rude of slugs. Get a couple geese, They love the slugs and will hunt them down. No work on your part.

If you can't find potty trained geese you probably won't be happy with what's on your tractors and on everything else they get around.

Good luck
