Spent last 4 days helping buddy clean up and totally gut his house , had water 6 ft deep in first floor, pretty much lost everything . he called this am and said some pos lowlife had broken into garage took generator , power washer, tools . What a kick in the sac. Time for trip wires and man traps .
 
Makes you want to set down there with a 'thief dispatcher' in hand and wait for the criminals to come back.

I'm a firm believer that if more criminals were (legally) killed in the commission of their crime.. we'd have less crowed jails, less crowded judicial systems.. and eventually.. a slightly more polite society..

I'm sure there will be some mamby-pamby abundant wussy-fied people that have problems with this post.. but there ain't no use for a 'live' theif anywhere on this planet..

First thing these jerks think of is looting, as soon as something like this happens, it's like the free for all light comes on, 'cept when you get caught, and hopefully that is before the law gets there. Amazing, these people think nothing of stealing, nothing at all, just makes you wonder if the good still outnumber the bad, and how soon after a natural disaster you really need to go into self preservation mode just to protect yourself from the opportunistic criminals that pop up like mushrooms after a rain.
 
Criminal has all rights. Victim has none. Old west law is needed. But as Soundguy says liberals don't want to hurt the perps.
 
I don't think I am a mamby pamby abundant but I do have a problem with this post.

Reason One: It was not in all caps.

Reason two: It was not enough boards or sites.
 
I'm a dyed-in-the-wool abundant.

There's a lot of people (pedophiles come to mind, eg) I could 'take behind the barn', and then go sleep the untroubled sleep of the Pope himself.

Set a trap at another location with good bait and lay for him, he'll be back. Rats are smarter than him, sometimes you just wanna taste the salt in their blood as it sprays on you face.
 
Brian I work in Cedar Rapids.
He should call KCRG and KGAN and let them know so they will do a story about it.
I would be fairly confident they would ( I hahve a relative that works at KCRG) and they have been reporting on the lack of looting.
My email is open if you and your friend like send me his name and address and I will pass it along.
It may not get his stuff back but it may put the scum who took it on notice,save anothers person stuff and let the pawn shops look out for this type of commodity coming in
